Kim Miles
Before joining Baker Gladstone & York Kim was at Scottish Life for 15 years, starting as a junior and rising to management level, working alongside David Gladstone. Kim followed David into the newly founded business and has worked with him and Peter to grow the company ever since.
Kim’s main role is to ensure that the business functions on a ‘day-to-day’ basis, from recruiting, managing support staff and compliance, to book keeping and generally making sure the business runs smoothly and efficiently. She takes great pride in her team and gets as much satisfaction from making sure they are all happy and achieving their goals as she does from knowing there is a strong and loyal team behind the company.
Outside of work, she is kept busy trying to keep up with her young family, socialising and travelling. She likes to read and particular enjoys the writing of Peter James.
